My Mini-Adventure To London

I have returned from my mini adventure to London! I had such an amazing time catching up with friends I haven’t seen for over 5 years, it felt like we’d never been apart!

I flew down on Friday and we had a big catchup into the wee small hours. It’s amazing how each of our lives have changed in such a small time!

On Saturday morning we headed to Portobello Road Market:

In the afternoon we went to Camden Market:

At night we went to Shaka Zulu for cocktails. It’s an amazing high-end South African restaurant, so beautifully decorated with carvings and statues that it’s a real treat to visit.

Then headed to Proud Kitchen in Camden for a three course meal and Burlesque show. It was an amazing show with a good three-course meal and free club entry afterwards for only £39! A total bargain!

On Sunday we had a pub lunch at The Abbey Tavern in Kentish Town and I had a delicious veggie roast of mushroom wellington and onion gravy with roast potatoes, carrots and broccoli. A real
plateful!

Then Costa for a Black Forest Hot Chocolate and tiffin before heading to the train station to start my journey home.

What a great weekend, shame it’s over!
